[Sca-cooks] Foodie Event in Ann Arbor

There's free conference featuring a number of noted writers on food in 
Ann Arbor on Monday, Sept. 15th. Colman Andrews, Lynne Rosetto Kaspar, 
Mimi Sheraton, Harvey Levenstein and others will be speaking at a 
conference being called "The Food Page: The Press and Public Policy."
UM Classics Prof. Susan Alcock will be speaking on "The Culinary Culture 
of the Ancient World". What that has to do with today's journalism isn't 
mentioned, but it's a big free gathering of several interesting writers.
