It's safe to say that almost any commercial processed-food product will
contain some GMOs, unless it's specifically labeled "GMO-free" or
something to that effect, or certified organic. A huge proportion of
the canola, corn and soy, as well as other ingredients, are genetically
modified these days.

There was an interesting article in Well Being Journal just this month
about GMOs. A researcher has been trying for two years to get both hogs
and cows to eat GM corn. In every single trial, the animals would sniff
the GM product and reject it without a bite, then eat the conventional
product without a pause. They did this with herds at several different
farms. Also, mice wouldn't eat a bite of FlavrSavr tomatoes. When they
were forcefed the tomatoes through gastric tubes and stomach washes,
several developed stomach lesions. 20% died within two weeks. This was
the final testing before they were approved for human consumption.
