[Sca-cooks] Verjus

I didn't know that there was more than one ...

Yes, the one from the East Kingdom.  I believe
they are in Baltimore.  I don't believe they
have a website anymore.  I paid $8 for a standard
wine bottle full of verjus.  Well, sort of ...
last August, Mistress Rayne on her SCA Food and
Feast list had a scavenger hunt for those of us
who couldn't go to Pennsic, and I won.  Got a $20
gift certificate from the Pepperer's Guild, which
got me a bottle of verjus and a dozen different
herbs and spices. Verjus and mastic and saunders,
oh my!  Verjus and mastic and saunders, oh my!
Verjus and mastic and saunders, oh my!
