I have bad news. The KKK was still a threat in the 70's. My whole
childhood trick-or-treating expreience was mapped out around missing the
a Grand Wizzard's and his sons houses. And I lived in Beaver
Clever-dale.

I have happy memorys of people and places. Not times.

In whose alternative universe?
50s = racial segregation, KKK, Korean War,
nuclear bomb shelters and scares
70s = Vietnam war and protests, Rock festivals,
psychodelic art, love fests, followed by disco in
the late 70's
It is a matter of perspective and how you want
to look at things.
Huette, who was a child of the '50s, a teenager
of the '60s and reached adulthood in the '70s.
They were all golden years in my memory.
