While we're on the French Geekdom topic, though... I've downloaded
Nostradamus' book on candies and jams and other foodstuffs (in PDF format
here: http://www.oldcook.com/textes_anciens/nostradamus.htm - it's about 9
megs, and doesn't include the first book on pharmacology)

I was thinking of translating the text into English; before I start, I want
to make sure that it isn't there already on the web. I've search quickly but
haven't found any translation.

If you do know of one could you please let me know? I wouldn't like to go
through the entire thing in vain :-))
