My dear friend Mistress Aethelwyn discovered that a bottle or two of
champagne brought to a pot-luck luncheon Pelican meeting once made the whole
meeting much more lively and personable, and has made an effort to bring
more to each meeting since. (This is the same lady that took the ideas
about champagne truffles to heart last year and began experimenting on them.
She is at it again, I was on the phone with her when her next bottle of dry
champagne that she'd removed the wire from and set down on the counter while
speaking to me blew it's top and a quarter of the bottle all over her
kitchen ;)

actually might make the meetings a little more interesting!
