We haven't had much time to talk, she lives in Panama City Beach, FL
(she & her SO own a tee shirt shop there "Mushroom Tees" -OFC), I live in
Taunton, MA, so we haven't talked about the politics of the counties yet.
Nepal was her favorite place that she visited (in Israel she was getting
reviewed by her SO's very Orthodox family& our family is not Jewish, she
said it went well which is good, Eyal is the best boyfriend she has ever had
IMO).
What she said about the trip was that the run down from Mt Everest to
the lowlands of Nepal was her favorite part of the trip. She rode down on
the top of a bus with friends she had made on the trip. Going from sleeping
at a Buddhist Monastery (coldest place she has ever been) on the slopes of
the mountain about 5 K from the climbers base camp to the lush green hills &
fantastic waterfalls of the country was breathtaking. Since she is also a
professional photographer she spent a lot of time taking photos, that will
take a long time for her to afford to be able to print. When they are
developed she will likely be selling prints, if you are interested. Her
photos tend to be of out of the way places with a story told within the
picture. I am forwarding a copy of this email to her, if she has time (she
is recovering from the trip & getting ready for Spring Break right now) she
may reply to your questions.
One of the other things she did on her trip was take a cooking class in
Thailand. She is going to be fixing me a meal when I get down there to
visit that she says will be hot enough even for my taste.
Pax,
Olaf
