My apologies for not responding sooner, but i have been off line with
the modem shut off since late Wednesday night and had a catastrophic
hard drive failure some time very early Thursday morning... another
reason this couldn't have come from me.

I have lost everything, as nothing could be recovered - the first
time this has happened. I've had hard drive crashes before, but
recovered everything or darn close each time) - lost a couple book
manuscripts i'd been working on for a few years, much of my SCA
research, including all my class hand-outs, recipes, photographs,
etc. And all the e-mail i had saved from this very e-mail list.

I got my computer back with a new hard drive installed Saturday
afternoon. But i couldn't get back on-line right away. You see, i
moved a couple years ago and haven't yet unpacked everything. I
finally managed to find the software for my modem rather late last
night - which was sheer luck, as the movers had put it in a box with
a whole bunch of junk, but no other software except Myst: Riven (and
i couldn't find any other software, so my hard drive is pretty empty).

Also, to reiterate again what i have already said before, i use a
Mac, so this new worm/virus - which takes advantage of flaws and
security leaks in a MicroSoft OS or e-mail client - can't effect me,
so i can't infect you.

Heck, i've even gotten virus/worm mail from "me" from an e-mail
address that hasn't worked for at least 4 years when that ISP went
*out of business*...
