<<I have a fantastic recipe for an egg torte brought to Morocco by Jews
feeling the Spanish Inquisition in 1492 (my heritage). It is actually best
eaten cold or at room temp. It does not freeze, tho, but I always have much
success with it when I make it for friends. My grandmother used to make it.
When it is done, it actually looks like a cake, but it is made with eggs,
potatoes, and mixed veggies. >>

Hmmm. If it has potatos in it, it must have been adapted since 1492, as
potatos would only have been discovered by Europeans in that year, and wouldn't
become popular in Europe for quite a while - after the end of SCA time in most
places. I have no idea when they made it to Morocco, since I don't do Middle
Eastern cooking.

Go ahed and post the recipe - I won;t use it for the potluck, but it might be
something to make at home sometime!
