Jon Stewart said it had become "'Why has God forsaken us' cold".  The lady
reporting for the Weather Channel from Atlantic City was having a hard time
making her lips work while doing an outside remote.  I hear you guys are
setting new records for low temps.  Gee, whiz, how did you get so lucky?
Stay warm, and you can always come to sunny Meridies to visit if it gets too
bad!

sitting in short sleeves with bright sun shining (it's only in the mid-50's
however).  I am scheduled to fly up to Rochester for Seven Deadly Sins in
February, though, to attend a Laurel elevation, so I should get to see
plenty of snow then....


It's 4 degrees Fahrenheit, that's -15.5 Celsius, in New York City...
that's with both the Gulf Stream current _and_ its enormous ambient
waste industrial heat...

It's 28 degrees Fahrenheit, or -2.2 degrees, Celsius, in Juno, Alaska...
