It's this...stuff.  Kind of a dark vegetable relish, comes in various 
kinds of chunkage--finer chunks are better on sandwiches, bigger as a 
"relish."  The website describes it as a "chopped pickle or chutney," 
which describes it as well as I just did, I suppose.  It's a relish 
comprising many different vegetables in a dark brown, tangy, slightly 
sweet sauce.  The vegetables are crunchy.
I first had it in England when I went in 2002 (a "shepherd's lunch" at 
this little tea joint in Shrewsbury).  It's absolutely wonderful on/with 
a good cheddar....mmmm....

OFC: We went to Shrewbury because I wanted to see the Caedfael gardens 
which, once we finally found them, comprised these really neat, raised 
beds full of the most amazing variety of herbs and plants...oooh, baby, 
do I *want* one!  Shrewsbury, I might add, is really hilly! ;o)
