[Sca-cooks] Food Movies Revisited

Hm, I hadn't thought the Wedding Banquet really focused on food at all,
other than the name.  There is another movie called "The Dinner Game" which
I saw recently that has the premise of a group of friends that have a dinner
party every week, and the game is that they all try to invite an idiot to
the dinner.  The movie takes place in one of their apartments, with the
current week's idiot, but they never get to the dinner, and food isn't
really ever mentioned (aside from a simple omelete).
I just finished watching La Grand Bouffe, which was pretty good, although I
don't think I'll try killing myself by trying to eat myself to death, it
looks really uncomfortable.  It was a pretty good flick, though.  I am
struck at how many movies combine food, sex, and horror.  Hmmmmmm....
