I really liked how he included the cultural aspects as well as the
culinary aspects.   It makes you wonder if Petronius was really being
satyrical when he wrote Dinner at Trimalcio's or if he was serious.

Thank you!  I don't have time right now to read the whole thing, but I
have found a recipe or two that interest me.  Knowing that someone else
has checked it out helps a lot until I can get around to absorbing the
details.
