another In the SCA is Auntie arwen's Spices.....aka Crystal Connection
(also known as Baroness Arwen, or Jane Sibley)

outside the SCA....
the BESt source i ever found for saffron, price wise (cant speak to flavor)
was at a resteraunt supply store.  industrial sizes of resteraunt
staples...... and a bIG tin of saffron.
