[Sca-cooks] Re: Boy, am I lucky

Until this past weekend, I really had no idea how much difference there
was between the way some groups deal with their cooks at events and the
way my group deals with cooks. When I've been an autocrat I've had to
fight to get a look at the feast menu, and we've had to do some fast
talking to get a few cooks to either cook periodoid or to cook for, say,
vegetarians, but most of our cooks are quite good and don't need or get
much supervision. Once a cook is in the kitchen, cooking is their most
important job and autocrats are very cautious about interrupting the work
flow-- and solicitious (do you need anything?) of the cook's needs. :)

Guess there are worse places to cook than my shire.

(Now, when I cooked for Silver Rylle, I felt like the Queen of Cooks, as
my every request was catered to. Boy was I spoiled!)

Jadwiga, from everything that I heard about Convivencia's feast, they should treat you like the Queen of Cooks! I hope you're doing the feast again for them next year. Maybe this time I can make it.
