<grin> The folks around here call that being a 'freegan' vegan unless the
food is free, at which point it is unethical to waste it.
I'm more of a pesco-pollo-tarian myself.

Yeah, my daughter is one of those "flexatarians".  She goes all vegan, then
someone sets a steak or ice cream down in front of her and blinks only to
find the plate empty.  She figures if you are just going to throw it out,
why waste it.
