I agree with all that Ro said, if we are talking about the same stuff.
I've been drinking this low carb chocolate drink for several months.
Mine is Hood brand, "Carb Countdown Dairy Beverage.
Total carb 3 grsms vs. 31 g for chocolate milk
protein: 12 g vs. 9 grams
total fat: 4.5g vs. 8 grams
They say 2 g carb for Atkins diet because of 1g of dietary fiber, but I
don't know whether to believe that.
the ingredients are: water, fat free milk, cream, calcium csaenate,
whey, protein isolate, cocoa, natural flavor, buttermilk, tricalcium
phosphate, salt, disodium phosphate, mono and diglycerides,
carrageevan, locust bean gum, sucralose (splenda brand), acesulfame
potassium, vanillin, vitamin A palmitate and vitamin D3.
Well, some chemical factory stuff, but on the whole a lot of natural
ingredients.
And it does spoil, as the bulging, empty container I pulled out of the
trash to get this information from is indicating by smell. ;-(
