My "shoebox" contents: (I think it'll all fit)
	1/4 cup rice flour
	1 1/2 cups mozzarella
	1/4 cup dried parsley
	1/2 pound butter
	1 1/4 cup sugar
	fine spice powder
	powder douce
	saffron
	chervil
	fennel
	pepper
	mace
	cloves
	cinnamon
	sage
	red sandalwood
	salt
beef bouillon cubes (I know ... yuck! ... but space is an issue here)

The Menu:

Mock eggs (no source handy)
Whitefish soaked to remove some of the salt, flaked, and formed into
egg shapes. Rice flour is used as a binder and saffron to color the
yolkes.

Roast chicken y-farced (Le Menagier de Paris)
Head, feet, and innards removed from the chicken. Stuff with 2 hard
boiled eggs (ground up) mixed with ground sausage and sage.

Cabbages in Pottage (Forme of Cury)
Cabbages boiled in broth with onions, saffron, salt, and powder douce.

Spinach tart (Le Menagier de Paris)
Spinach, mozzarella, parsley, chervil, fennel, 6 eggs, and powder
fine, in a spelt flour crust.

"Garbage" (Two Fifteenth-Century Cookery-Books)
Head, feet, and innards of chicken cooked and served in the beer (with
a dash of pepper, saffron, mace, and cloves). I don't actually expect
anyone to eat this, but what the heck.

Perrey Of Pesoun (Forme of Cury)
Peas, cooked and simmered with onions, sugar, salt, and saffron.

Compost of Fruit (adapted from "Perys en Composte", Two
Fifteenth-Century Cookery-Books)
Assorted fruits, peeled and cut up, simmered in wine, water, sugar,
cinnamon, sandalwood and salt. Garnish with mint leaves.

How's that?
