Nope. But period, as I said, by our usual rules. I know you were 
probably just joking, but I have a problem with royalty legislating 
that something is period when it isn't. Legislating that they don't 
personally have a problem with a particular non-period item is 
different. Although as the folks that should be setting an example and 
trying to uphold the ideals of the Society, including authenticity, I 
don't think they should do this.

If you do some research and find out a good idea of what the Normans 
did and didn't eat, I'd love to have it for this Florilegium file:
