What sources do you have at hand?  An easy one is canisoles. It is from
Platina, which it is basically almond and sugar paste rolled up in pie 
dough and baked.

If you have access to the book, it is fairly easy to redact. If not, I have 
to order a new copy so you could as somone to post it here.

The only thing I did different than the book was spin some hot honey 
over them.  Just be sure to make enough to go around, I made them for
a Will's Revenge a few years back and I never got to taste them.
