Bizarrely, I've lent lots of my personal stuff to the local group on
occasion, and I've a reputation as one of two people most likely to be
sure that group gets back what it took to an event (and doesn't
inadvertently lift anything of anyone else's!)
My basic take on it is that those who won't lend, can't borrow-- I won't
be lending my stuff to events involving those who objected. :)
