One of my favorite! movies. How did you know?

So very New York with fast paced dialog and instant
twisted comebacks.

===

Bloom,	With briefcase in left hand, right hand on left
	bicep, "He can't get out of the contract can he?"

Bialystock, "Absolutly not."

Bloom,	Releases the briefcase, lifts the trashcan lid,
	tears the armband off into the trashcan, and
	spits on it.

	AFIK, the _only_ hint of violence by Bloom in
	the entire movie.

===

The fountain scene at Lincoln Center ... what can I say?

===

Lorenzo St. DuBois (L.S.D.) (played by Dick Shawn)

===

Bialystock, "I know, we'll kill all the actors."

Bloom,	"You can't do that, they're people."

Bialystock, "They are? Have you ever had lunch with one?"

===

Back to food/cooking ... sort of ...

I heard a story ...

Dick Shawn, the actor was in an Upper West Side restaurant
when another patron aproached his table to get down on one
knee and begin singing, "Springtime for Hitler und ... ."
