God!  God!  Why do they mock poor fellows thus!?  To ban oatmeal is to deprive the common man of
one of the more ephemeral joys of SCA event participation!!!  Cold, cold night.... huddled around
the dancing embers of the fire....when someone brings out a rich, creamy, steaming pot of
steel-cut oatmeal.  Heaven, I tell you...HEAVEN!!
