    When I happen upon a cool spice shop with "exotics"  I tend to buy as
much as I can afford at that time of what is running low/don't have.  I try
and buy at least 4 ounces, depending on what an ounce looks like {4 oz of
feathers vs 4 oz of lead thing} Long pepper is one that took a while to
ind  -- the store merchant grumbled something about import regs . . . . .
