as to oats, you can make rugbraud, and lumpur (appart from wonderfull
porridge (if you put a bit of honey in it))
but those are Icelandic/norwegian rather then Scottish, your loss :)
btw, slatur (wich is very similar to haggis) in iceland gets eaten
baked with sugar as well as cooked :)
