[Sca-cooks] my new job

Just realized I forgot to tell the list my good news before I left.

As of 5 pm today I have left my previous place of employment, and 
tomorrow at 9 or 10 am I start my new job at Drew University. My dream 
job- half reference librarian, half library webmaster, and fewer hours 
per week (a bit less salary, but I can make the small amount up with 
consulting and/or a few hours a week as a library sub).

I'm sad to leave my former colleagues, who gave me a truly magnificent 
send-off-- they painted a poster with my shire's arms, put together a 
basket of herbs and veggies, set up a medieval table setting for me, and 
gave me a star-of-bethlehem necklace and a Barnes & Noble gift card.
I'm not sad, however, to leave a job whose stress level and expectations 
were eating me from the inside out. 

Wish me luck, guys. I'm terrified-- this is only my second professional 
employer-- I was at Lehigh almost 15 years, from the time I took my MLS 
onward.

(Oh, and I'm in the process of moving in with my friends Sarah bas 
Mordecai, her husband Aegidius, and the irrepressible Beckster.)
