[Sca-cooks] Snow and Storms

Not sure, you would have to ask the learned denizens of Schoenberg Hall that
question. LOVE that you asked about UCLA rather than USC though. [You can
tell where I attended, yes?] UCLA does have an on-campus chapter of the SCA
of course, "The College of San Ambrogio" named thusly because a major
building, Royce Hall, was based on the San Ambrogio Church in Milan. Of
such things are SCA names made. That SCA college is dormant at the moment
because they all graduated; one day it will be revived and OF COURSE it
would help a lot to have an actual faculty member involved! I hint like a
six-time duke with a polearm, yes I do.

Um, on-topic content? Dr. Luigi Ballarini, editor of the recent new edition
of Martino de Cuomo's THE ART OF COOKING is a UCLA prof. A lot of us from
the "San Ambrogio Alumni Association" are certainly "SCA-Cooks" if not all
on this list. We'll make you poutine if we have to save you the scary LA
rush hour drive to Monrovia.
