Where as I missed a big male Grey Kangaroo on the way home (at about
6'6") by about 2cm on full braking (w/- ABS). Would have made a huge
mess of my newish Corolla...

On the morning of travelling to my parents place for XMAS (about 15hrs
straight, stayover then another 2 hrs) the cats decided to leave me two
presents...

The lack of my beloved Siamese fighting fish (Sam-I-Am), who I strongly
suspect did a successful escape attempt from the tank via a cat's
stomach was the first. The second was a faint stink in the kitchen,
unusual because the fridge and trashcan were both emptied the night
before, ended up being a large rat with the head neatly removed and
placed and inch from the body...
Even my cats are into the season of gifts and feasting...

Christmas Lunch/Dinner was a fantastic combo of many dozens of oysters
(cooked various ways) followed by various seafoody bits cooked with Thai
flavours and some light salads... Washed down with some nice McLaren
Vale reds and whites... I felt so good that I'm vowing never to eat
another traditional Christmas dinner in the summer heat.

Drakey.

Ps. Anyone on-list going to the KWDS in Australia midyear?
