Yes, that's right ... I see it as "2 1/2"

Maybe Berelinde should turn 'Smart Quotes' off in M$ Word. <g>

In Word, click: "Tools" -> "AutoCorrect" ->
"AutoFormat As You Type" ... under "Replace as you type",
unclick all six of those options.

Every one of those options can cause character codes to be
generated that will not always display correctly on another
PC. Micro$oft chose those code assignments without consultation.
Emerging Internet standards have assigned
different meanings -- thus the messed up display.

For documents that have already been typed, I can work out
a way to correct them ... if asked.

Somehow, I am reminded of "WKRP in Cincinnati",

The Big Guy is trying to make sense of the changeover to
Rock from Classical -- and being (mostly) ignored.

He doesn't know the LP album that is playing -- on the air!

Fever [looks asleep]: "Don't touch that record."

Big Guy: Hi. ... "Do I hear dogs howling on that record?"

Fever: "I don't know if you hear dogs howling. ... I do."

That is soooooo existential.
