Umm ... I am sure she does.  However, if you
look in the Florilegium, in the "food" section
under "dumplings", you will find several
conversations with Dr. Thomas Gloning about
spaetzle.  His conclusion was that there was no
evidence that spaetzle was period, and that
he thought that it was at the latest an 18th
century dish.
