on a similar area.... dear heart came down with severe
heat cramps several weekends and ended up in the ER at
midnight. all his electrolytes/potassium et al were fine
in the blood work.

the dr. prescribe quinine pills (and dear heart has not
had it filled, per usual for him). he has started
drinking tonic water big time (occasionally with a tad of
gin)

hasn't had a problem since, and did some heavy fighting at
'glory' in the heat this weekend with no problems. there
is sugar fee tonic water out there, which we are going to
try next.

mad dogs and englishmen and tonic water... go figger!

cailte
who still can't get it past her lips, even at a 10% ratio
to water... or gin either....
