Spanish has picante/spicy and calliente/temperature.  I am guessing the rest
of the latin-based languages will be similar, though I have not looked.

Me gusta a comer alas de pollo picante o media pero no fria.

Besides "pepper" and "pepper", there's also "hot" and "hot"...

In Indonesia there are two different words to distinguish between
temperature hot (panas) and spicy hot (pedas). "Pedas" is not the
same as "piquant" or "pungent", words which to me do not carry the
same sense of XXXtreme...

Do other languages have words that clearly distinguish "spicy hot"
from other sensations?
