Ceribus? Bonnie, Blanche, Diana, are a few that come to mind, what sort of name are you looking for? My dogs are named
Chihuhuas the wife breeds them but they are also pets.
Chichi, to old to breed and she has become my pet and service dog.
J.E.B. actually Jubilation T Hambone, but I call him mostly Tater Bug (he raids the tater bin and eats them)
Winiferd, long story her register name is Ginger Snap due to her color, and she didn't like Ginger or Ginny and the wife called her winny and I said "You mean Winiferd? and she refused to answer to anything but Winiferd or Ferd. She would be a good pup if she just had a bit more personality!<G>
Beau
Buffy, as that is her color and she has never slain a Vampire
Little Bit she was a runt that the wife had to nurse by bottle and isn't breeding stock
Our Guard Dog
Mavrick he is a mix of Boxer, Black Lab and maybe Mastiff, we got him as a stray but he is so playful we also call him Goofy.
write me off list at
rbbtslyr at comporium.net and I will be happy to help you come up with a name if wish, and not tie up the list.

Subject: [Sca-cooks] Suggestions needed- OT
Finally, after a great deal of discussion, my roommates have allowed me to
get another dog. She's a 3 year old purebred Husky with blue eyes, no
training (yet) but a very nice temperment. I'm very happy with everything
about my acquisition, except for one thing- her name, Precious. That being
the case, I intend to change it, since I can't abide having a dog whose name
makes me want to upchuck every time I use it. My roommates agree ;-)
Her previous name was Chinook, but I don't want something quite as common.
So, I'm posting y'all, and asking your help. What shall I name my new dog?
Please, if you suggest a long name, make sure it can be shortened to a one
syllable use name.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is probably not a
cat.
