ISTR the band 'Darby O'Gill' (My favorite album is 'Waitin' for a Ride') 
has a song the talks about 'shillelagh law'- if I could find my tape I'd 
send the lyric, but as I can't find it...

I think my favorite Irish things (besides fine literature) are Bailey's and 
Irish Breakfast tea. And Ken Branagh. :-)
