I'd ask where is the recipe from? I wouldn't think England would get 40
sunny days in a row...maybe they said that to ensure it got enough warmth
overall... (just my .02 lira;) Betsy

My personal opinion is that it's better to place the bottle in a warm spot
out of direct sunlight. The rose oil seems to me to be too delicate to
handle constant, direct sun. At least in my experiments, I've gotten a
fuller flavor when I've put the bottles in my hall closet that sits in the
hottest area of the house.
