Might I suggest, good lady, serving the 1.5 hour version tossed lightly with
olive oil, shredded parmesan, a mix of basil and oregano, and slices of
pan-fried artichoke heart and sundried tomato sausages?

It sounds like it would be quite good that way. (What pasta isn't?)  And
would help them seperate easier. :)
