Yeah, as far back as when I was taking archeology courses at Va. Commonwealth Univ...working on my M.A., I heard stories of Japanese pottery...or copies of it...showing up as far north as South Carolina. Haven't heard much more about it recently, though. Neat idea...wish we could prove it!
