As i've posted to the list, all four cooking competitions in 2006 of 
the Silver Spoon in the Principality of the Mists in the Kingdom of 
the West will be Mediterranean.

They will be:
Spring Coronet (March 31-April 2) Dairy
Spring Investiture (May 20) Pulses
Autumn Coronet (September 22-24) Fruit
Autumn Investiture (November 11) Root Vegetables

So, about Pulses... on the Silver Spoon web page, i've described them as being
"lentils, fava beans, black eyed peas, chickpeas, field peas, cream 
peas, etc.; dried green peas will also be accepted"

I have two questions. First, are dried green peas really pulses? 
Second, are dried yellow peas "period" (irrespective of whether they 
are pulses)?
