Thanks, Jadwiga, for the correction. 

I did a version of the Emir of Catania's chicken dish for our event because I wanted something that was Sicilian in origin, and Sicily is the home of Persephone. She was kidnapped by Hades from the plains of Enna. In Italian, of course, it's "Cerere" and "Proserpina."

I would have done a dish from Enna, but the few that I found were too modern-day in origin and associated with specific religious festivals with Baroque-age roots.
