They  cover fruicake in their Christmas show though, it re-airs November 
12, 2005  4:30 AM ET/PT.  Yes, those are my hands chopping fruit and 
stirring the  plum pudding.

You're right, the show I was thinking of was Alton Brown's Good Eats.
