Just a heads up but there is a very slight chance I might get
a job in Portland. Our company needs field techs in the Portland
area and I'm thinking of applying. It's still very up in the air
so don't clean out the spare room yet.

But I'm looking into it. The only thing that's really kept me
from that area is the worry of getting a job and I might get
one for around $15 an hour. Is that at least a living wage
in the area?

There is also a chance I may get trained on Oracle databases
here so that might convince me to stay. As well as my "family"
ties and my girlfriend.

But there is now a much greater chance of moving to Portland
than I've had.
