The November 2005 issue of National Geographic
has an article titled "70555 Turducken Town".
A turducken is a deboned turkey stuffed
with a deboned duck, which is stuffed with a deboned chicken.
The article is written by journalist Calvin Trillin and features
the town of Maurice, Louisiana where Herbert's Speciality
Meats is located. They have been making turduckens there
since 1985. Pages 114-120. As a bonus,
National Geographic at
http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0511/
has recipes and instructions for making one at home.
