Ah, so you want to know how much a typical tea pot _does_ hold, then, 
not how much a teapot for a specific person _should_ hold.  On that 
score, I much less idea.  Typical small posts make something like two 
cups.   May I suggest a measuring tape and quick calculation when you're 
shopping?
