Heyo!  first response and all that...  ::grin::
 
 
As far as teapots go, take your favorite cup/mug/vessel, and reckon two to  
three times whatever it holds - that's the size pot you want.
 
My daughter has an iron teapot, and it's nice - but it's strictly  a 
one-person teapot.  if we're brewing for the family (Sunday mornings come  to mind) we 
break out my great-grandmother's teapot, which we put on the stove  and which 
whistles when ready...
