Nope. Cubeb doesn't look anything like this. They are individual 
peppercorns, bigger than piper nigrum and with a very thin stem, 
which gives cubeb the name of tail or tailed pepper.

Cardamom seeds are very very dark from standard cardamom that comes 
in the small light green (sometimes bleached white-ish) pods.

There are many other types of cardamom that grow in South and 
Southeast Asia and are often dried by smoking - which these pods 
appear to be... so maybe one of these other types of cardamom
