  Well, I thought I'd chime in here...for  Eastern Christians(save for the Orthodox other half, who'll celebrate the same feast NEXT week this year...sigh)
  The lamb has been set aside, the hens are laying like crazy!! ( I have about a half dozen Auracana girls that lay blue, green, and one sorta aquamarine eggs! plus a few Brahmas and Rocks for various shades of red and brown...from pink to terra cotta!) I do have a couple of Italian girls for white eggs to dye and make pysanky with on Holy Saturday, but mostly we'll just paint the rest of them with the various symbols.  The cheese and butter are waiting to be pressed, though the kilbasa and beetroot horseradish have already been done months ago!
