On a more amusing note, my Neaopolitan grandpa was complaining one time about how poor food in America was compared with Italy.

"Look at these oranges!" he complained. "Back home, I could get a dozen oranges, big as babies' heads, for a nickel!"

After hearing him go on in this vein for some time, my Aunt Marie said, "Pop, if Italy was so great, why did you leave!"

"Because I didn't have the nickel for the oranges!"
