OK, I bow to your exceptional knowledge of the subculture due to your
correct use of the term "stfnal" in a sentence. <smile>

"Barfleet," are you serious? LOL! I think I need to find these people.

I have both of McCaffrey's recipe collections, one of them is pretty rare.

Also both licensed Star Trek cookbooks, including the one from 1977 by [get
this] Mary Ann Piccard, long before that was funny. Also, the Star Fleet
Bartenders Guide by Art Canfill and the USS Cydonia replicator manual from
1999. And... Okay, I'm even boring my self now. Yeah, there is more to my
cookbook collection than Medieval. Oh yes.

Don¹t know the other two names you mention, will do some web-walking and
find them, unless you can supply an introduction.

In thanks for letting me hijack the list for a couple of days, let me offer
this recipe from a SCA cook of note:

Hot Party Punch

by Jon de Cles, from notes taken once upon a Westercon.

1/2 cup Orange Pekoe or Assam Tea [dry tea, not liquid]
3 Tbsps. Allspice
2-1/2 cups Orange Juice
1-1/2 cups Lemon Juice
1 cup Pineapple Juice
3 whole lemons, sliced thinly
3 whole oranges, sliced thinly
1 hand-full cloves
8 oz. can pineapple punch [I think it was concentrate]
1-1/2 cups honey
4 quarts water.

1. Boil water, put in tea and steep.

2. Simultaneously, heat all juices, allspice and honey.

3. Strain tea and combine with juice mixture in a big

heatproof bowl with fruit and cloves.

4. Serve and enjoy!

Ever stalking the wild recipe,
Selene C.
