Hand wringers interpret this as absolutely no alcohol may be served at a s
feast unless the person purchases same themselves and comsumes themselves.

The more assertive and adventurous allow for private individuals or groups
to produce and/or provide beverages to diners that tend to enhance the
overall experience of medieval feast. I belonged to a non-affiliated,
unsanctioned and un-chartered group that, on more than one occasion, fielded
commissions to produce, serve and pair wines with the presented meal.
Spectacular effect at coronations!

This is from the April 7, 2006 revision Corporate Policies of the SCA, Inc.
April 7, 2006 revision, so you may not be familiar with it. Is you are in
the US, the policy is pretty clear- individuals my bring their own, but the
branch- which would include the feast cooks- may not serve or furnish
alcohol.

Outside of the US, you'd have to check Kingdom policy.

And please don't shoot the messenger. I'm just passing it
along.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
