[Sca-cooks] children/ADD and ADHD

In retrospect I have decided that I was ADHD as a
child. However, 45 years ago there was no such thing
and my Pedetrician merely told my mother that I was a
hyper boy and if she needed to give me something to
calm me down that she could try COFFEE.
His words were to the effect that, "in some cases the
caffiene works in reverse and calms the child down."

I was introduced to luke-warm coffee, with just enough
cream and sugar to make it interesting, in a bottle.
Drank my coffee, calmed down, and often as not, went
straight to sleep.
Kept drinking coffee through childhood and adult hood.
I can still drink pots of coffee and sleep like the
dead.
I do believe that there are too many children on too
many drugs.
